St. Vincent de Paul’s Feast Day

On Friday, September 27 at St. Vincent Meals on Wheels and Hotel Dieu we celebrated the Feast Day of St. Vincent de Paul.

The blessed day began with a 7 a.m. Mass at Hotel Dieu Dining Room, led by Fr. Joe Kim. In attendance were many of our staff, volunteers, and Hotel Dieu residents. Fr. Joe, who serves as the Director of Campus Ministry at the University of Southern California Catholic Center and is also a United States Air Force Reserve Chaplain, brought a spirit of warmth and community to the service while reminding us of the plight of the poor and vulnerable whom we serve daily.

We are deeply grateful to Fr. Joe for his ongoing support of the St. Vincent Meals on Wheels mission to deliver food and love to the hungry and homebound throughout Los Angeles. His presence greatly enriches us.
