“God has no waiting list, and neither do we.” – Sister Alice Marie Quinn, Founder, St. Vincent Meals on Wheels

St. Vincent Meals on Wheels has delivered food and love homebound seniors and other vulnerable Angelenos who are at risk of hunger for nearly 50 years. With more than 250,000 seniors facing food insecurity in the city, many of whom are homebound and isolated, our services provide a vital lifeline to those in need.

Our registered dietitians meticulously craft meal plans tailored to specific dietary requirements and preferences, ensuring that our clients receive not only nourishing meals but also ones that are enjoyable to eat. From specialized meal options for specific medical conditions like low sodium and renal diets for kidney patients to pureed meals for seniors with swallowing difficulties, each meal is carefully planned to support our clients’ health and well-being.

Despite the growing demand for our services, St. Vincent Meals on Wheels maintains no waitlist for those in need. We are grateful for the unwavering support of our generous donors and the dedication of our hardworking volunteers who help make this possible. We are committed to serving all individuals within our service area, regardless of age, race, illness, disability, religion, or financial means – ensuring that no senior goes hungry or without support.
