Meals on Wheels America Celebrates 50 Years of Service

Since 1974, Meals on Wheels America (MOWA) has hosted an annual gathering of senior nutrition program leaders and allies from across the country for invaluable learning experiences, quality networking, and inspiring keynotes aimed at uniting and energizing this dedicated network. The 50th anniversary conference in Baltimore brought together providers, partners, and experts in the field to celebrate five decades of collective impact and to address the forthcoming challenges that older Americans will face over the next fifty years.

St. Vincent Meals on Wheels CEO, Veronica Dover, along with our dynamic staff member, Sonia Sanchez, attended the conference. They had the opportunity to connect with many of our current vendors and partners and establish new relationships with others who traveled to Charm City. These connections will enrich and enliven the work being done by SVMOW to serve and care for our homebound clients.
