It’s National Volunteer Week!

In response to the rapidly growing population of senior homelessness in Los Angeles County, the role of our volunteers has become more crucial than ever. At St. Vincent Meals on Wheels, we appreciate our amazing volunteers who help prepare and deliver food and love to the homebound and hungry from Pasadena to West LA. By providing this essential support, they enable seniors to maintain their independence and prevent homelessness by ensuring these individuals receive the attention and care necessary to remain in their homes.

Volunteers are essential in food preparation, meal delivery, and managing pantry supplies, embodying our Vincentian values of Respect, Compassionate Service, Simplicity, Advocacy for the Poor, and Inventiveness to Infinity.

This week, we celebrate their impact and invite new volunteers to join us in making a difference in the community.
