“My wife Gwen and I feel incredibly honored to count ourselves as long-time supporters of St. Vincent Meals on Wheels. Founded by Sister Alice Marie Quinn, the program’s mission is to provide sustenance and connection to those in need,” shared the couple in a joint statement. “We are in awe of the dedicated staff and selfless volunteers who not only deliver meals and birthday cakes to homebound individuals and seniors but also conduct daily wellness checks and even provide meals for pets. Giving Angelenos nourishment and kindness unites us all in Sister Alice Marie Quinn’s honor.”

Because of the continual generosity and compassion of Circle of Angels members like Gwen and Ian McShane, we are able to serve nearly one million meals yearly. This support is especially crucial as we help many new clients who have nowhere else to turn during challenging times. Recent statistics show that the fastest-rising demographic falling into homelessness is our senior population. St. Vincent Meals on Wheels is a lifeline for so many in our beloved City of Angels.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated donors, Gwen and Ian McShane, and are thrilled to have them attending our 2024 Hollywood Under The Stars fundraiser on June 22, under the iconic gate of Paramount Studios where we will recognize them for their continuous support.

Our incredible staff and volunteers prepare, deliver, and serve not only nourishing food but also kindness and a friendly greeting each day. Often, we are the only face the senior sees all day, providing a valuable wellness check alongside nourishment.
