Many of the homebound seniors we serve have pets and often their cats and dogs are their closest companions. Most of our clients live at or below the poverty line and are unable to afford pet food so they share their meals with their pets and neither the owner or pet are receiving enough to eat.

The St. Vincent Meals on Wheels Bone Appetit program is designed to deliver healthy pet food every month to provide essential nourishment to their companion and ensure our clients receive a full meal each day.
