Our Bone Appetit program provides pet food for our client’s furry companions. Studies show that pets help seniors overcome loneliness and depression by providing love and affection, companionship, entertainment, and a sense of responsibility and purpose.

Most of our clients live at or below the poverty line and are unable to afford to take care of themselves and their pets. Our clients will sacrifice their own needs to take care of their pet’s needs. This means that our clients go without proper nutrition as they choose to share their meals with their pets.

The St. Vincent Meals on Wheels Bone Appetit program is designed to deliver healthy pet food every month, ensuring essential nourishment for our clients’ pets and allowing them to enjoy a full meal each day.

We are looking to expand our services to include Mobile Grooming services and Mobile Vet services, with your donation we can provide the needed help to the loving companions that share their lives with our seniors.
