On Saturday, September 9, a group of uniquely inspired individuals gathered at St. Vincent Meals on Wheels to mark the Blessing of the Circle of Angels Donor Wall, just steps away from the heart of the SVMOW Kitchen, where the names of those generous and kind-hearted donors who gave at significant levels are commemorated. This Circle of Angels is not only remembered on this day; their generosity is rewarded with special benefits throughout the year, with reserved seating and entry at premier SVMOW events, such as the annual holiday party and the Hollywood Under the Stars gala at Paramount Studios. The generosity of the Circle of Angels donors makes it possible for staff and volunteers to serve the mission of feeding and caring for homebound Angelenos throughout our City of Angels.
After enjoying a delicious brunch catered by Paris Baguette, and updates from CEO/Executive Director Veronica Dover and Director of Development Christine Calderon Caruso, guests gathered at the Donor Wall for a blessing from Vincentian Fr. Scott Jakubowski, C. M., who serves as Associate Pastor at nearby St. Vincent School and St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church. A Circle of Angels indeed!
